What No One Teaches Us About Job-opportunities

In the past few months, we’ve talked about writing a WINNING-RESUME. Yes, a RESUME that differentiates you from the rest of job-applicants; and one that gets you interview-calls.

I even showed you how to win unconventionally. Plus, I walked you through how to answer tough interview questions about your salary expectations in a job interview. How to negotiate your salary, plus much more!

Because, it’s one thing to get ‘shortlisted’ for that interview—after crafting a knock-out-punch CV—and it’s another thing to WIN the interview. And I want you to WIN.
Your job as a candidate; is to show the interviewer that he/she was not wrong, in calling you for the interview.

But often times, we are presented by other INVISIBLE SETBACKS; when it comes to getting a job. And truth be told: these INVISIBLE obstacles are HARDER to CONQUER, than mastering how to write a compelling-CV.
Today, let’s talk about some of these invisible barriers--because they are real; yet almost nobody ever talks about them.

The INVISIBLE BARRIERS No One Talks About
Take an ideal situation; where you are ‘perfect’ at crafting an IRRESISTIBLE RESUME. You know how to do ‘strategic info positioning’. You know how to ‘DECODE’ a job-description to uncover the ideal candidate the company is looking for—before you ever start to write your CV.

You know how to use the hiring manager’s language in your CV. And given an opportunity, you can create the “Perfect CV”.

Does that mean you can apply for that job and get that interview-call? YES and NO!
Yes, because you CAN; and NO because you won’t.

How, often do we see job opportunities; and because we’ve been rejected severally; we start second guessing and battling with these invisible scripts in our heads? ... I call them the “What ifs…”

  •  “…What if I have no value to offer? ...What if I don’t have what they are looking for?”
  •  “…What if there are so many job-candidates applying for this position? What are my chances?”
  • “…What if there are other more experienced candidates than myself?”
  • “…I only have a diploma! And I am sure; there are other job-candidates with degrees and graduates who have applied for this same position! What if they prefer them to me!”
  • “…I have done this application thing before…and haven’t succeeded. Besides, before this job-advert gets to the public; the job-position is usually filled. They’re just doing it for formality purposes?”

…And then we end up picking one of these two options:
We either…

  • Decide NOT to apply completely. Because, what’s the point?...They are never going to take me!
  • Go ahead and apply; but we DON’T SHOW our best. Why? Because we think we are not going to qualify anyway!
So, what follows is, we either miss the chance—by not applying. Or we never get the interview-call even after applying. Not because we couldn’t; but because we didn’t do all we could; to show WHY we are the right candidate.

Yet, when you look beneath the hood; you will notice this: while some of the above invisible scripts may seem technically correct; they are not the practical reasons, why we miss most job opportunities. They are psychological barriers that stall us; from earning our way into the interview room—sabotaging our careers.

I shall show you how to conquer most of those in the upcoming materials. And by the way, that’s what makes my 'THE IRRESISTIBLE RESUME' course different from any other CV-Writing course.

TIR course is not a bunch of mere THEORETICAL Information. We dive deep into how to conquer those “…What ifs”; and any other psychological barriers. And we do this way before we ever get into writing the RESUME itself.

I even show you how to uncover your own professional value—which you DIDN’T KNOW you had--to get hiring managers’ attention.

Why? Because writing the RESUME by and in itself is useless; if we have other invisible barriers holding us back.

“But Prince, what exactly is in your 'THE IRRESISTIBLE RESUME' course, plus why would I learn from you?” You may ask.

Well, here’s a sneak-peak of what we cover in the TIR course; and why I might be the right person to help you: Why "THE IRRESISTIBLE RESUME" course And Why Me.

We’ll talk more next week. But as for today, here are my BEST 5 materials for the past few months.
